One of the handiest commands in Windows XP is without doubt the Start/Run command. With its use we gain some valuable time doing our everyday tasks – why to browse the menus and search for example, the drawing program (Paint), if we can just use the Run command and type in ‘paint’. Voila! The program has opened in less time that we would have spent looking for it manually. Below there are some useful commands, that can be typed in any versions of Windows XP.

Windows Genuine Advantage is a free software by Microsoft, which install automatically while updating our version of Windows. Its task is checking whether our copy of Windows is legal or not. I wouldn’t discuss reasonableness of this program because Microsoft also offers us a possibility to uninstall this relatively unnecessary software, which is easier than its installing.
