How to remove: CiD pop-up - automatic appearing of advertisements
Sometimes when we are removing all the ‘garbage’ from our PC even AdAware and SpyBot do not help. In that case we must perform the removal manually or semi-atomatically.
It is a relatively high possibility that we get all the advertisements while installing software like MSN Live! etc. Because we do not uncheck the lines which offer us additional ‘features’, which cooperate with CiD.
You will recognize them by their name in IE - ‘CiD and than the name of the advert…
Option 1: If you are lucky you will solve your problems just by removing CiD Help in the Control Panel.
- Start/Control Panel/Add/remove programs
- Find Cid Help and remove it
Option 2: If you are not lucky the program Cid Help will not be in the CP. In that case the hard way of the removal will be necessary. I hope there will be no need for that.
